These Steps are for prayer and not the reading of the Quran in arabic, but the touching of the arabic letters in the Quran is only permissable by doing this.

This cleanliness is gone after every excretion including urination, excretion of metabolic waste, sleep, ejaculation, passing out, just perform wud' again after. Washing before prayer

Important: Make sure your feet are dry on top and your scalp is not dripping with water before starting Wudu. A little moisture on the scalp is fine, but it should not drip. Also make sure nothing would block water from entering like paint residue, white out ink, nail polish, tight rings or bracelets, anything creating a barrier between the skin and water. This is why many Muslim woman do not wear nail polish). 

Before starting, stand beside your sink and make niyyah (intention) in your heart that you are performing Wudu (washing before prayer) to prepare for prayer. You don’t need to say it out loud, just know your purpose.

1. Face
   
   

   • Fill your left hand with water.
     
     

   • Pour water from the top of your forehead down to your chin, making sure the front of your face is wet.
     
     

2. Right Arm (Front)
   
   

   • Fill your left hand with water again.
     
     

   • Wash your right arm from the elbow down to your fingertips on the front side.
     
     

3. Right Arm (Back)
   
   

   • Fill your left hand again.
     
     

   • Wash the back of your right arm, from the elbow down to your fingertips.
     
     

   • Make sure to wash between your fingers while doing this.
     
     

4. Left Arm (Front and Back)
   
   

   • Now use your right hand to fill water.
     
     

   • Repeat the same steps for the left arm: front side first, then back side, including between the fingers.
     
     

5. Head
   
   

   • Use the water left on your hands.
     
     

   • Rub a little water on the top of your head.
     
     

   • The scalp does not need to soak, and it should not be dripping with water.
     
     

   • If you have hair, you can pull it back slightly, but the main goal is that water touches the head lightly.
     
     

6. Right Foot
   
   

   • Use the remaining water on your hands.
     
     

   • Wash the top/front of your right foot from the toes to the ankle, including the big toe.
     
     

   • You don’t need to wash the bottom of the foot, but the top must be clean and wet.
     
     

7. Left Foot
   
   

   • Repeat the same for the left foot, using the same amount of water
